The renowned institute PARWATI PREMA JAGATI SARASWATI VIHAR is situated in the serenity of Nainital. Vidya Bharti is grateful to the reputed Jagati family which donated 21 acres of land for opening the school for education with moral and ethics on 24th July 1983 on the pious ocassion of Guru Purnima. Mrs. Parwati Devi (The mother of Mr. Narendra Lal Shah Jagati) was pleased very much after donating the land for such a noble cause. Bhartiya Siksha Samiti, UttarPradesh gave the name to this school Parwati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar Senior Secondary Residential School.

The very ambiance of Himalayan Region has been conducive to the development of noble traditions, fine qualities and well integrated personality. The child who develops in this region can never come under morbid influences of outside world. Educationists chose hill stations like Shimla, Mussoorie and Nainital for establishing residential schools to save our national heritage, moral ethics and patriotic sense in the youngsters as these regions are having a calm and quiet atmosphere, good for meditation and to quench the thirst of knowledge.
