The renowned institute Parvati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar
is situated in the lap of nature, on the verdant western hills that welcome
the first streaks of morning sunshine and are enriched by the melody of a
flowing brook. This centre of quality education is the outcome of the
generosity of the reputed Jagati family, the tireless
efforts of devoted and noble souls dedicated to social welfare, the vision
and guidance of several educationists, and the valuable suggestions of
ever-supportive parents.
It is worth mentioning that the respected Jagati family,
especially Mrs. Parvati Devi Sah, donated
21 acres of land
to Vidya Bharati for establishing a school that would
impart not only education but also moral values to children. She believed
that this would be the noblest deed of her life.
Mrs. Prema Jagati
(wife of Mr. Narendra Lal Shah Jagati) also shared her
vision and together they sowed the seeds of education on
24th July 1983
, the auspicious day of Guru Purnima.
Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti, Uttar Pradesh, bestowed the name
Parvati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar Senior Secondary School
upon this temple of learning.
