Admission Procedure

Prerequisites for getting admission in class 6th and 9th.

For class 6th:-

  • The aspirant should have passed class 5th from any government recognized school for getting admission in class 6th. The certificate issued by the previous school's authority is to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • The aspirant should have attained 10 years age at the time of admission.
  • Syllabus for entrance test is based on the concept of N.C.E.R.T upto class 5th.

For class 9th:-

  • The aspirant should have passed class 8th from any government recognized school for getting the admission in class 9th. The certificate issued by the previous school's authority is to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • The aspirant should have attained 14 years age at the time of admission.
  • Syllabus for entrance test is based on the concept of N.C.E.R.T upto class 8th.

General instructions:-

  • Application form along with prospectus can be obtained from the school office. Application form is also available online on the school website (www.ppjsvihar.in). Online form fee submission link is also available on the school's website.
  • Parvati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar is a fully residential school for boys so only the male candidates can get admission.
  • If any student is rusticated/suspended from school due to indiscipline or misconduct, his fees will not be refundable.
  • For getting admission, the aspirants have to clear the entrance test and the short listed candidates have to go through the medical fitness test and interview.
  • Guardians/aspirants are required to fill all the entries carefully and neatly in the admission form.
  • Transfer certificate (T.C.) of the previous school will be treated as the authentic and final certificate for candidate's name, guardians name, date of birth etc. Any kind of change will not be accepted.
  • Generally the entrance test is to be conducted on the third Sunday of the February month. The test paper consists of (i) Quantitative aptitude (ii) Reasoning, General knowledge and Science (iii) Language convention. The time duration for the written test will be of 2 hours only.
  • Please bring Black, Blue Pen and Pencil & Eraser for the entrance test.
  • Guardians, who wish to withdraw their wards at the end of the term/session will have to give 2 months prior notice before the commencement of the next session, failing which they have to pay full fees.
  • Students withdrawn at the mid term will be required to pay the fee for the entire session, T.C. will be Go issued only after the payement of full fees.
  • All disputes will be subject to realisation to Nainital judiciary only.
